Medicinal values of mango

Everyone likes to bite mango and it is a delicious too. This tasty fruit is used widely not only for eating, but also for various medicinal or nutritional purposes. This may be one of the reasons many people included mango in their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Raw mango is sour and stringent and ripe mango is tasty & nutritive.

A fully ripe mango is rich in Vitamin A (beta-carotene), Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, and B2, niacin, potassium, iron and fiber. Green mangoes are also rich in Vitamin C. Mangoes are good to treat the kidneys, and improves digestive system. It reduces skin and eye disorders, reduces cysts, excess body heat and fever. All parts of the mango have medicinal uses to cure common diseases. The tender leaves of the mango tree are used to prevent and control diabetes.
